The "Roots to Rhythm: Caribana Art Exhibit," curated by artist/activist Joan Butterfield, features 70 canvases that take the viewer on "a dramatic journey through the soul of music - from the rhythm of African drums to gospel, jazz, rhythm and blues, and hip-hop genres," says the museum.
